Children's Summer Dance - Ages 3-6
Children's Dance Summer Camps 2026
All students must be at least 3 by the start of their workshop or classes. Limited spaces available.
Our very popular and fun week-long Children's Dance Summer Camps include creative movement activities with a different entertaining and inspiring theme each week. Dancers will learn basic ballet, work on motor skills, play fun dance games, create theme-related crafts, have a story time and enjoy a snack time (bring your own). At the end of the week, parents are welcome to observe their dancer's class at the end of the day.
Themes & Dates
Pups & Pets - June 8-12, 9am-Noon: Join Bluey, Peppa Pig, and the gang from Paw Patrol for a playful week with our favorite puppies and pets of all kinds. We'll also take a trip to Disney to visit Mickie & Minnie Mouse. If you love stories about animals, then this is the summer camp for you!
Princess 1 - June 22-26, 9am-Noon: This week you will come to believe that dreams do come true! Put on your tiara and join your favorite Princesses for a week of royal fun and adventure. Be sure to sign-up early for this themed camp, as it always very popular.
Fun with Stuffies - July 13-17, 9am-Noon: Bring your favorite Stuffies to each day of this fun and fluffy summer dance camp! We'll skip, jump, twirl, and leap with our beloved soft friends for a week of creative exploration. This joyful new camp encourages creativity, imagination, and lots of smiles in a warm, playful environment.
The Nutcracker - July 20-24, 9am-Noon: It will feel like Christmas in July with this workshop based on the most famous ballet story in the world, The Nutcracker. Explore movement and dance with the characters from this festive ballet, including the sparkling Sugar Plum Fairy, the frosty Snowflakes, those feisty giant Mice, the magical characters from the Kingdom of the Sweet and of course, the beloved young Clara and her Nutcracker Prince.
Sea & Sand - July 27-31 , 9am-Noon: Enjoy a week by the shore in our Greensboro Ballet dance studios with friends like Moana, Ariel, Peter Pan & Captain Hook, and the Baby Shark crew! We'll explore, through movement and crafts, everything magical about the ocean, sea creatures, pirates, mermaids and more.
Toy Story - August 3-7, 9am-Noon: Blast off into a summer of fun with our new Toy Story camp! Little dancers will twirl, jump, and leap alongside favorite characters like Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Barbie, LEGO friends, and other beloved toys. Through playful dance, music, and imagination, campers will explore movement while bringing their favorite toys to life. It’s a joyful week of creativity, friendship, and adventure—to infinity and beyond!
K-POP Hunters & Ninjas - August 10-14, 9am-Noon: Get ready for a high-energy adventure where tiny dancers become brave K-Pop Hunters and playful Ninja warriors! Campers will dance like fearless heroes—bold, sparkly, confident, and powerful—channeling the vibe of animated K-pop characters who move with rhythm, teamwork, and star energy. We'll also train as mini Ninjas as we learn to be quick, sneaky, balanced, and strong while turning our dance steps into ninja skills that build coordination and focus.
Princess 2 - August 17-21, 9am-Noon: These camps are always so popular that we just have to have two! A Princess can be anyone she wants to be and can do anything she puts her mind to. We will have a royal party with lots of Princesses. Feel free to wear your favorite Princess costumes all week long!

***Important Notes***
Children's Dance students are not required to wear dance clothes to our summer workshops or classes, though it is ideal. Children may wear any dance clothes, play clothes, and/or costumes (be sure you can still move/dance in your costume of choice). Students should bring their own water bottle/drink and a snack each day. The showing for parents on the last day is usually around 11:30am.
Summer 2026
Children's Dance Open Classes:
Dancers in these 3 or 4 Week Sessions attend class once a week including movement explorations, pre-ballet technique, creative play and learning of the basic dance steps. These classes are a great way to continue taking classes all year long and/or to try one of our Children's Dance classes with an eye towards the future.
*Students must be the appropriate age by the date of their first class.
Saturdays, 9:30am-10:15am
Students must be able to attend at least 3 or 4 weeks of classes in order to enroll in these sessions.
Session 1: June 6-27 Session 2: July 11-25
Session 3: August 1-22
COST: 3-week session: $60 4-Week sessions: $75
7-Weeks: $120 8-Weeks: $135 All 11-Weeks: $180

Current School of Greensboro Ballet students should just use this LOGIN to access their account to add any Summer classes, etc.
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT:
Your Registration Fee of $20 will be waived if you register for any Summer classes, workshops, or intensives by March 1, 2026.

SCHOLARSHIPS:
Full or partial Scholarships are available if needed. Current students will be considered first for financial aid (you do not need to reapply). To ask about Scholarships, email us at:
SUMMER TUITION PAYMENTS:
Your Registration Fee will be charged immediately when you register for any Summer offering. You will receive a confirmation of your registration and then you will be billed for 1/2 of your total summer tuition owed. The other 1/2 will be billed the first week of the month you are attending your first class or session (June, July or August).
