Class Schedule:

 

CHILDREN'S DANCE PROGRAM:

Choose one class day & time. 

Must be the appropriate age by September 8, 2026.

 

Creative Movement 1 (Age 3 - must be potty trained)

Wednesdays 3:30-4:15pm  or   Saturdays 9:30-10:15am

Creative Movement 2 (Age 4 - must be potty trained)

Wednesdays 3:30-4:15pm  or   Saturdays 9:30-10:15am

 

Pre-Ballet 1  (Age 5)

Wednesdays 4:15-5:00pm  or  Saturdays 10:15-11:00am (with Pre-Ballet 2)

Pre-Ballet 2(Age 6) 

Wednesdays 4:15-5:00pm  or  Saturdays 10:15-11:00am (with Pre-Ballet 1)

BALLET PROGRAM:

*NEW STUDENTS CAN DO A PLACEMENT CLASS TO BE OBSERVED BY FACULTY AND PLACED IN THE CORRECT LEVEL.  THIS WILL BE BASED ON TECHNICAL ABILITY, NOT JUST AGE.

Must meet the minimum age by September 8, 2025.

 

Level A1 (Age 7, minimum)

Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm  or  Saturdays 10:15-11:15am (with A2)

Level A2 (Age 8, minimum)

Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm  or  Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm  or  Saturdays 10:15-11:15am (with A2)

Level A3  (Age 9+, those only wanting one class/week)

Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm  or Saturdays 10:15am-11:15am

Level A4  (Age 10+)

Thursdays 4:00-4:00pm  or  Saturdays 11:15am-12:15am

 

Notes:  The following classes meet twice per week. 

Level B2 (Age 9+) Mondays 4:30-5:30pm & Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

Students in Level B2 Ballet may add Level B Jazz(see below)

 

Level C2 (Age 10-11, with placement by faculty) 

Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30-6:45pm

Students in Level C may add Level C Jazz (see below)

 

Level D2 (Age 11+, with placement by faculty) 

Tuesdays 5:00-6:30pm & Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm

Students in Level D may add

Level D2 Pointe (with placement by faculty - see below)

Level D Contemporary (see below)

 

Boys Class (Age 7+, no dance experience required)

Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

Boys may also register for Jazz B/C (see below) 

BALLET & POINTE - PROFESSIONAL DIVISION PROGRAM:

Ages 10-18 (levels must be recommended/approved by our School Director or Artistic Director)

Level C2  (Ballet 2 days/week. May add Jazz C class.)

Level C2 Ballet:  Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30-7:00pm

Level D2  (Ballet 2 days/week. May add Ballet Level 1 or 2 - based on teacher recommendation. May also add Contemporary D2 class.)

Level D2 Ballet: Tuesdays 5:00-6:30pm  & Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm

Level D2 Pointe: Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

 

Level 1(By faculty placement only)

This level is done together with either Level C2 or D2

Level 1 Ballet:  Fridays 5:00-6:30pm

Level 1 Pointe: Fridays 6:30-7:30pm

Level 2(By faculty placement only)

This level is done together with either Level D2 or Level 3

Level 2 Ballet:  Fridays 5:00-6:30pm   &  Saturdays 10:00am-11:30am

Level 2 Pointe:  Fridays 6:30-7:30pm

Level 3   (By faculty placement only)

This level is done together with either Level 2 or 4

Level 3 Ballet:  Mondays 5:00-6:30pm  &  Tuesdays 5:00-6:30pm

Level 3 Pointe:  Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

Level 4A   (By faculty placement only)

This level is done together with either Level 3 or 5

Level 4A Ballet:  Fridays 5:00-6:30pm  &  Saturdays 11:30am-1:00pm

Level 4A/B Pointe:  Fridays 6:30-7:30pm

Level 4A & Level 4B   (By faculty placement only)

This level is done together with either Level 3, 4A/B or 5 (no substitutions)

Level 4A Ballet:  Fridays 5:00-6:30pm  &  Saturdays 11:30am-1:00pm

Level 4A Pointe:  Fridays 6:30-7:30pm

Level 4B Ballet:  Wednesdays 5:00-6:30pm

Level 4B Pointe:  Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

Level 5 (By faculty placement only)

This level is done with Level 4A and/or 4B

Level 5 Ballet:  Mondays 5:00-6:30pm  &  Tuesdays 5:00-6:30pm

Level 5 Variations:  Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

CONTEMPORARY, JAZZ & PILATES MAT

Students who want to take Contemporary or Jazz, may only be admitted into any of these classes based on their age, experience, and expertise. Beginners may take Jazz B/C or the Level D2 Contemporary classes - as long as they meet the age requirement.

Jazz Level B/C(Ages 9+) Thursdays 6:00-7:00pm

Open Jazz  Class  (Ages 11+)  Thursdays 7:00-8:00pm

(for Ballet Level D & up or those taking Jazz only w/faculty placement)

Contemporary D2  (Ages 10+ with placement)  Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

Contemporary 3 (Ages 11+ with placement)  Mondays 6:30-7:30pm

Contemporary 5  (Ages 13+ with placement)  Mondays 6:30-7:30pm

  Open Pilates Mat Class (Ages 11+ with placement)  Thursdays 6:00-7:00pm


Fee Schedule:

REGISTRATION FEE:   (Due with Registration)

$60 FOR FIRST STUDENT & $45 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBER

TUITION FOR SCHOOL YEAR:

NEW! - A non-refundable deposit (in the amount of your child's first month's tuition or $100 towards their monthly tuition - whichever is lowest) is due at the time of registration. 

Monthly Tuition for classes begins at $58/month for a 45-minute once a week class. You may also choose to pay for the entire year's tuition at one time.

Your child's tuition will be dependant on how many classes/week they are enrolled in and how long each class is. When you register through JackRabbit, your child's tuition amount will be calculated at that time.

DISCOUNTS: We offer a discount for families with two or more students enrolled for the entire School year. Simply take 10% off the lowest tuition amount owed for one of the siblings.

SCHOLARSHIPS: The School of Greensboro Ballet offers financial assistance through its Scholarships program. That includes full or partial scholarships depending upon need and overall tuition amount owed. To apply for a Scholarship, ask for a Financial Aid Application by emailing: schooldirector@greensboroballet.org

AUTO-DRAFT: For your convenience and to avoid late fees, we require all families to use our Auto-draft payment option through your JackRabbit account. If you need to work out any other payment plan, please contact our School Director at:  schooldirector@greensboroballet.org

LATE FEES: There is a $25 late fee applied if tuition is over 5 working days late. If you pay Monthly, you will be charged the $25 late fee every month you pay your tuition late.

NO REFUNDS: Registration fees, Tuition and Concert fees are non-refundable.

STUDENT CONCERT FEES:

Every year, the School of Greensboro Ballet saves families hundreds of dollars by not requiring students to purchase flashy costumes for the year end performance.  Student concert fees include costuming, but are also used to offset the cost of facility rental, stage manager, lighting designer, crew, program printing, etc.

Children's Dance Concert (Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet students)
$35 for first child and $25 each for additional child

Upper School Concert (Ballet, Contemporary, & Hip-Hop students)
$65 for first child and $45 for each additional child

Families w/students in Children’s Dance Concert & Upper School Concert
$65 for first child and $25 for each additional child.

Fees will be due (auto-drafted) on February 1, 2027 and are non-refundable.


*Includes costumes and FREE admission for you, your friends & family! Children's Dance students may keep their costumes. Upper level students will borrow their costumes from Greensboro Ballet and should be returned after the concert.
