Jennifer Savage Gentry

Executive Director

Christine Cervino Grider - Artistic Director

Christine Cervino Grider trained at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet with Marcia Dale Weary and Melinda Howe She has over 30 years of directing and teaching experience, and has taught all levels of students in ballet and pointe at such notable schools as The School of Ballet Memphis and Pittsburgh Youth Ballet. Ms. Grider has completed teacher training courses through The Pennsylvanina Academy of Ballet in the Vagonova Method of teaching and through her alma mater, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She has choreographed and set such major ballets as Giselle, Twelve Dancing Princesses, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, and was awarded the Emerging Artist Grant by the Durham Arts Council for her staging of The Sleeping Beauty. Her original choreography has been chosen through adjudication for performance at Regional Dance America's National Festival in 2007, as well as Regional Dance America/ Southeast Regional Festivals in 2010, 2011, 2014, and most recently in 2025 after Greensboro Ballet rejoined RDA/Southeast. Ms. Grider has an eye for detail while developing a dancer's artistry and passion for dance.

Nina Bass Munda - School Director

Nina Bass Munda Trained at the School of Greensboro Ballet and UNCSA. She spent several season dancing professionally with Greensboro Ballet as a principla dancer. Ms. Munda has taught as an instructor of every level in our School, and is an American Ballet Theatre Certified Teacher.

Katie Connell - Faculty Children's Dance & Performer

Katie Connell is originally from Dayton, Ohio, where she grew up training at the Dayton Ballet School, and performed along side Dayton Ballet’s professional company. She has attended summer programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Grand Rapids Ballet, and Orlando Ballet School. Ms. Connell graduated from the University of South Carolina, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Perfomance. She has previously danced professionally at Central Illinois Ballet and is in her third year dancing and teaching with the Greensboro Ballet. Most recently, she has spent summers as a residence counselor with the Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Laura Pollin - Faculty

Laura began her ballet training at age 12 in her hometown in Northern Virginia, after a number of years as a competitive gymnast. She went on to train at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, under Marcia Dale Weary, and continued at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, under the direction of Michael Vernon and Violette Verdy. She has attended various summer intensives including Carolina Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Boston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and Orlando Ballet, many of which were on scholarship. Laura is a recent graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, with a Bachelors of Science in Ballet and an Outside Field in Business. She was a recipient of the Jacobs School of Music Dean's Scholarship and the Music Faculty Award. While at IU she had the opportunity to dance the fourth soloist in Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15, the Snow Queen in Michael Vernon’s The Nutcracker, among other roles in Sleeping Beauty, and Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments andWestern Symphony. Mollie Sansone - Faculty Professional Division

Mollie Sansone began her ballet training in North Carolina with Melissa Hale Coyle, Claudia Folts, Lisa Leone, and Rebecca Massey. She attended various summer programs, including the Joffrey Midwest Workshop, the Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory, and Atlanta Ballet. Sansone’s professional career began with Nashville Ballet in 2004. She performed many works by renowned choreographers during her nineteen-year tenure, such as Paul Vasterling, Jirí Kylián, George Balanchine, Christopher Bruce, Salvatore Aiello, Val Caniparoli, Cathy Marston, and Stephen Mills. Her most notable lead roles include Juliet in Vasterling’s "Romeo and Juliet," Lizzie in Vasterling’s "Lizzie Borden," the Survivor in Mills’ "Light," The Chosen One in Aiello’s "Right of Spring," the Turning Girl in Balanchine’s "Who Cares?" and the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Dew Drop Fairy in Vasterling’s "Nashville’s Nutcracker." Sansone has taught dance for over two decades, for a wide variety of age groups, experience levels, and arts organizations. Most prominently, she was a School of Nashville Ballet part-time faculty member. She also taught classes for Nashville Ballet’s main and second company. As a choreographer, Sansone premiered her first original work for Nashville Ballet 2 in 2019. She choreographed other works on the main company such as "Bootleg Sugar Lips" and "Fortitudine," among others. She later became Resident Choreographer of Nashville Ballet in 2022. In the summer of 2023, she attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts’ Choreographic Institute. As a répétiteur, Sansone set Vasterling’s "Cinderella" on Sacramento Ballet.
