Sunday, August 23 - Auditions in the GB Studios

1:00-1:30pm     Registration for Advanced students (ages 13-18 with at three years of classical ballet training and one year en pointe).

1:30-3:00pm     Audition for Advanced students (females & males)

2:15-3:00pm     Registration for Intermediate students (ages 10-13 with at least two years of classical ballet training).

3:00-3:45pm     Audition for Intermediate Students (females & males)

3:15-3:45pm     Registration for Boys (ages 7 -11, no dance experience needed) and Girls (ages 8-10, with at least one year of classical ballet training). 

3:45-4:30pm     Audition for Boys (7-11) & Girls (8-10)

Auditions will take place in our Greensboro Ballet studios, located on the 3rd floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center (behind the main elevator), 200 N Davie Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.

Those wishing to audition must be available to rehearse and perform for all the following 2026 Nutcracker dates:

Monday, Dec. 7 through Wednesday, Dec. 9  -  Theatre rehearsals

Thursday, Dec. 10 & Friday, Dec. 11 at 10:00am  -  Nutcracker School Shows (condensed, educational version for local children)

Dec. 10, 11 & 12 at 6:30pm  - Evening Performances

Dec. 12 & 13 at 2:30pm - Matinee Performances

All rehearsals and performances will take place at the historic Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro.

Auditions are open to all local dancers, ages 8 & up, with at least one year of classical ballet training.  Boys ages 7-11 may also audition, no dance experience required. See above for more details.
