Student Company Auditions

Auditions for Greensboro Ballet's Student Company

Greensboro Ballet's Student Company is committed to fostering the next generation of dancers by providing high-quality training and performance experiences. We encourage aspiring young dancers to grow artistically and technically in a supportive environment. 

Dancers ages 11 & up are invited to audition for a place in Greensboro Ballet's esteemed Student Company, under the artistic director of Christine Cervino Grider. Company members will receive exceptional training, performance opportunities, and the chance to be part of a dedicated and passionate dance community.

Open to:  Males & Females, Ages 11+, with at least three years of ballet training

2026/2027 AUDITIONS:

Sunday, May 17, 1:30-3:00pm

at the Greensboro Ballet studios

Audition Fee:  $10 (charged to your JackRabbit account or you may bring cash or a check (made out to Greensboro Ballet) to the audition.

Requirements:

 All interested dancers must fill out and submit an Audition Application (see below) and both the dancer and their parents/guardians must agree to all Company Standards (link to copy below). Do not audition if you cannot agree to all requirements and standards required of our Student Company dancers.

Female identifying dancers should wear a black leotard and pink or flesh colored tights and ballet shoes. Pointe shoes will be required for those with at least one year of pointe training.

Male identifying dancers should wear a solid-colored t-shirt and black tights/leggings, white socks, and white or black ballet shoes.
